Jack London (1876 - 1916) was an American novelist, journalist and social activist. Pioneering the genre of magazine fiction and prototyping science fiction, he became one of the first writers, who gained worldwide fame and a large fortune. Set in the South Pacific at the beginning of the twentieth century, "A Son of the Sun" includes of eight wonderful stories like "The Proud Goat of Aloysius Pankburn", "The Devils of Fuatino", and "The Jokers of New Gibbon".
